An Inventure Expedition is not a safari, but a true journey “back to the rhythm” in Tanzania, where the first humans on earth emerged. It is a special trip for a small group of inventurers who want to reinvent their lives for vital aging in the second half. Inventure treks offer a great chance to get back to the basics of being on foot and to experience hiking in wilderness environments. This trip also offers a chance for inventuring at a private camp setup on a fairly remote and undeveloped part of the Indian Ocean shore.
This trip will take a provocative look at who we are and who we may become in the second half of our lives. It will be a true adventure where the new worlds we see will reveal elements in ourselves that we never knew existed. Isak Dinesen summed this journey up in Out Of Africa, “You woke up in the morning and thought: Here I am, where I need to be.”

“I was working in a high-stress, less-than-fulfilling job, when I started thinking about a second half of life that would really satisfy me. At the same time, I began making plans to take some time off. Then suddenly it occurred to me—I need a personal odyssey—an adventure plus an inventure. And from Africa my second half dream was born.”
