2012 Programs Featuring Inventure Principals

Richard Leider, John Busacker and Barbara Hoese continue to serve as faculty for the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management’s Executive Education courses.  Initial programs announced for 2012 include the Minnesota Management Institute and the Art & Practice of Effective Coaching.

Minnesota Management Institute

The Minnesota Management Institute (MMI) is a three-week program offered by Executive Education and is geared for proactive managers and gives participants a basic understanding of the entire scope of the business enterprise in today’s emerging economic environment.  Inventure Principals Barbara Hoese and John Busacker teach modules in the program.

Key learning outcomes at MMI include:

  • Improving organizational performance
  • Re-energizing with the best and brightest
  • Gaining confidence in your business knowledge
  • Strengthening your business competencies

Dates for the program are March 4-9, 2012, April 15-20, 2012 and May 14-18, 2012.  The fee for the three modules is $14,000.

The Art and Practice of Effective Coaching

Leadership coaching is vital to today’s most successful organizations.  This program provides leaders with a proven approach to developing and retaining key people through effective coaching practices.  Richard Leider and Barbara Hoese co-lead this highly experiential leadership coaching program.

Program objectives include:

  • Increasing skills and confidence of leaders to engage in coaching conversations with tier people
  • Bringing out the strengths in your leaders
  • Exploring ways to unleash the power of purpose in leaders
  • Acquiring a framework and tools for coaching
  • Creating a leader-as-coach mindset and coaching culture
  • Enhancing the ability of leaders to improve employee productivity and satisfaction

Dates for the Art and Practice of Leaders Coaching Leaders are May 7-9, 2012.  Tuition is $3,500.
